A GoGPS Case Study
The Boys & Girls Club operated a 22‑vehicle fleet (mostly 15- and 20‑passenger vans plus some pickups and trailers) and was unsure of the benefits telematics could provide. To gain visibility into vehicle use and mileage, the organization engaged GoGPS to deploy a GPS telematics/tracking system across its fleet.
GoGPS installed GPS units on all 22 vehicles, giving managers real‑time and historical trip data for vehicles that spend roughly 40% of their time offsite. The system produced immediate reductions in idling and speeding among the 150‑person staff, improved fuel economy and fleet oversight, eliminated accidents and traffic violations since implementation, and even resolved a false accident complaint using trip reports—demonstrating clear, measurable impact for the Boys & Girls Club.
