With GoFundMe Pro’s Live Events, Faith In Practice’s annual gala raised $146k above its goal

Faith In Practice, a medical nonprofit providing healthcare in Guatemala, faced the challenge of hosting a gala that would exceed the success of previous years to fund its mission trips. To achieve this, they turned to the vendor GoFundMe Pro and its Live Events software to facilitate a hybrid event.

The solution, GoFundMe Pro's Live Events, provided features for ticketing, attendee communication, a silent auction, and text-to-donate. This hybrid approach allowed 316 in-person and 62 virtual attendees to participate, helping the organization raise $946,000, which was $146,000 above its $800,000 goal. The funds directly support providing care to over 30,000 Guatemalans annually.
