Lindner Traktoren launches a 10-inch intuitive tractor HMI with Gofore in 1.5 years

Lindner Traktoren, a Tyrolean family business and manufacturer of agile tractors, faced the challenge of integrating a new, larger 10-inch touchscreen display into its most powerful model, the Lintrac 160. The goal was to offer more functionality and new technologies without complicating the operation, requiring the new display to work seamlessly with an existing smaller screen. For this complex human-machine interface (HMI) project, Lindner enlisted the expertise of the vendor Gofore.

Gofore implemented the solution by leveraging its HMI expertise to create an intuitive operating concept through user research, prototyping, and iterative testing. The result was a high-performance, responsive touchscreen that significantly enhanced the tractor's efficiency and ergonomics, while its scalable design ensures it remains future-proof. The successful collaboration contributed to the Lintrac 160 being named "Farm Machine of 2026" even before its production began.
