The State of Utah Police Fleet engaged GoFleet after discovering they could not reliably meet specific state and federal guidelines for vehicle and equipment use. The agency needed improved overall fleet reporting, better measurement of vehicle utilization, tracking of on‑duty vs off‑duty use, monitoring of driving behaviour, verification that drivers were running code and following policy, and accurate historical data retention.

GoFleet implemented Geotab IOX integrations—using Driver ID with NFC (IOX‑NFCREADER), light and siren monitoring (IOX‑AUXM), and seat belt tracking—to address these gaps. The GoFleet solution centralized reporting and provided accurate utilization metrics, dependable on/off‑duty and code‑running verification, and improved driver‑behavior monitoring, resulting in stronger compliance and reliable historical records for the State of Utah.
