Great Lakes Fusion, a family-run construction company founded in 1998, was growing past 30 employees and struggling with paper forms that moved slowly from job sites to the office. Time cards, equipment inspections, and work orders could arrive days later, creating pressure on payroll and delaying billing.
In April 2013, Great Lakes Fusion adopted GoCanvas to replace paper forms with mobile apps and cloud-based workflows. Foremen began collecting time cards on smartphones, work orders became available to the office the same day, and the company said the change saved two hours a day, or over 400 hours a year, while speeding invoicing to a day or less and improving data accuracy.
