Holt Renfrew avoids nearly 20 tonnes of CO2e with GoBolt

Holt Renfrew, a Canadian retailer, faced the challenge of reducing its Scope 3 greenhouse gas emissions, a significant portion of which came from its downstream transportation and last mile delivery operations. To achieve its ambitious science-based target of a 28% reduction in these emissions by 2030, the company sought a sustainable logistics partner and selected GoBolt Parcel.

The solution implemented by GoBolt involved handling Holt Renfrew's last mile deliveries in key Canadian markets using a large fleet of electric vehicles and route optimization technology. In the first nine months of the partnership, GoBolt completed 23,000 electric deliveries for the retailer, avoiding nearly 20 tonnes of CO2e emissions and demonstrating a 90% month-over-month increase in sustainable deliveries since the launch.
