A Goalbook Case Study
Litchfield Elementary School District, specifically Palm Valley Elementary in Arizona, was looking for a better way to ensure instructional alignment across grade levels. Teachers and instructional leaders needed help finding leveled, rigorous materials that matched standards and grade-level expectations, and they were spending too much time searching online for resources with unclear alignment. Goalbook and its Goalbook Pathways product were introduced to support this need.
With Goalbook, educators gained access to clearly aligned standards, reading passages with Lexile and word-count information, and Quick Assessments for reading and writing. The result was stronger grade-level instruction, easier assessment creation, and more time for teacher collaboration instead of resource hunting. While the case study does not provide hard numeric results, Litchfield staff reported improved instructional conversations and better confidence that classroom materials were appropriately rigorous and aligned.
