Case Study: National Trades Union Congress helps 85,000 workers upskill with Go1

How National Trades Union Congress (NTUC) Learning Hub is helping Singaporean workers expand their knowledge and horizons

National Trades Union Congress (NTUC) LearningHub, the learning arm of the National Trades Union Congress in Singapore, needed a way to keep workers engaged and learning remotely during COVID-19. With Singapore’s workforce suddenly facing the Circuit Breaker period, NTUC wanted to test whether employees would embrace short-form online learning from a range of content providers, and support workers in staying employable for life.

Go1 partnered with NTUC LearningHub to launch a free learning portal with curated, off-the-shelf courses aligned to the NTUC “Worker 4.0” framework, including topics like leadership, business management, data analytics, Python, and Adobe Suite. The solution included personalized recommendations and trackable self-enrolment, and the results were strong: 85,000 workers registered in under two months, surpassing the 7,500-user goal in just one week, and more than 20 million minutes of learning were completed.
