St. Louis involves 16,000+ residents in the allocation of settlement fund

The City of St. Louis faced the challenge of allocating a $250 million Rams settlement fund in a way that was transparent, inclusive, and driven by resident input. To do this, the city partnered with Go Vocal and used its community engagement platform to reach as many residents as possible and build a stronger digital engagement strategy.

With Go Vocal’s platform, St. Louis gathered over 3,500 ideas from residents, distilled them into 7 priority areas, and registered more than 16,000 users overall, with over 12,000 votes cast to help guide spending priorities. The city also used the platform to support “co-legislation,” allowing residents to review and annotate draft legislation, helping produce community-backed decisions and rebuild trust through a more open public process.
