A Go Vocal Case Study
The City of Norwich, Connecticut partnered with Go Vocal to launch Envision Norwich 06360, a community engagement platform designed to help the city meet new public engagement requirements tied to state grant applications and city policy changes. Norwich needed a more inclusive and efficient way to gather resident input, replace fragmented outreach methods, and build stronger internal alignment across departments and its local nonprofit partner.
Go Vocal provided the online community engagement platform that Norwich used to centralize feedback, support cross-department collaboration, and expand outreach through Facebook, local radio, press coverage, in-person meetings, QR codes, and multilingual engagement. The result was stronger internal buy-in, a more synchronized communications approach, and a growing community of nearly 200 participants shortly after launch, with the city aiming to reach its 40,000 residents over time.
