Preview of the INJUV Case Study

INJUV empowers 28,250 millennials to discuss sustainable development ideas for Chile

INJUV, Chile’s National Youth Institute, needed a way to engage millennials (ages 15–29) nationwide and attract strong applicants to its Creamos leadership and social-innovation programme. To do this it launched an online participation initiative, “Ideas para mi comunidad,” using Go Vocal’s online engagement/participation platform to let young people share, discuss and vote on community-focused sustainable development ideas.

Go Vocal’s platform enabled idea submission, commenting, voting and curation tied to Creamos selection criteria, driving rapid engagement: registrations rose 292.5%, comments 468.5% and votes 300% after the May 2020 push. The campaign yielded 28,250 users, 628 ideas from 520 applicants (327 selected for further training), 21,488 votes, 50,437 visits and 154,818 page views—showing Go Vocal helped INJUV significantly scale youth participation and recruit program candidates.
