A Go Vocal Case Study
The City of Allen, TX partnered with Go Vocal to update its “Allen 2045” comprehensive plan and needed a more efficient, equitable way to gather community input. Its traditional engagement model relied on separate project websites, in-person meetings, and resource-heavy outreach that often produced limited and unrepresentative feedback.
Go Vocal’s platform supported a hybrid engagement strategy, combining online participation with offline outreach, centralized input collection, automated communications, and contextual tools like an interactive timeline and embedded documents. The result was a smarter process and broader reach, including input from 612 households online and hundreds more offline, helping the city hear from a near-representative sample of residents and giving council members more confidence in data-backed decisions.
