A Go Vocal Case Study
Cambridge City Council used Go Vocal’s community engagement platform and AI assistant Sensemaking to support its Design Code consultation for northern Cambridge neighborhoods. The council’s challenge was analyzing large volumes of open-ended resident feedback, a process that was traditionally time-consuming and made it harder to include free-text questions in surveys.
With Go Vocal’s AI assistant, Cambridge City Council was able to automatically summarize free-text responses, validate the AI output against original comments, and build report-ready insights much faster. Go Vocal helped the council cut analysis time by about 50% and save roughly 10 hours, while improving transparency, report creation, and confidence in using more qualitative input in future consultations.
