A Go Vocal Case Study
Brussels Region sought to broaden input for its new Regional Mobility Plan beyond formal stakeholder consultations by reaching everyday transport users and residents who lacked other channels to be heard. To capture ideas from the public the Region worked with Go Vocal, deploying an online idea platform (CitizenLab-powered "Good Move by Citizens") to make participation accessible and timely.
Go Vocal ran the platform in partnership with local agency 21 Solutions (which led content, communication and moderation), and the public call generated strong, measurable engagement: 500 registered citizens, 240 proposals, 2,200 votes and 880 comments, with 30 feasible, sustainable ideas shortlisted. Those selected projects are now being discussed by the Regional Government, showing Go Vocal’s platform delivered broad, concrete citizen input for policy decisions.
