A Go Vocal Case Study
Grand Paris Sud (population ~346,826) faced the challenge of boosting citizen participation to shape its Territorial Air, Energy and Climate Plan, a cycling network plan and a new cultural policy, then later to solicit projects for a “Stand Up For the Climate” campaign. To run these consultations the agglomeration used Go Vocal’s citizen participation platform, employing features like geolocated idea pinning, integrated surveys and public voting to gather concrete input from residents, associations and schools.
Go Vocal implemented a digital consultation workflow—mapping ideas, hosting questionnaires, shortlisting 16 laureate projects and enabling public voting—supplemented by face-to-face outreach. The campaign engaged over 5,700 registered users and collected 5,439 votes (with 400+ contributors to the cycling plan), produced a winning school-garden project and moved ideas into implementation; the initiative also awarded climate prizes (up to €3,000 plus support) to accelerate delivery.
