The customer, Boost Mobile, partnered with vendor GNF Marketing on a campaign to drive retail traffic and boost sales. The challenge was to effectively leverage their national sponsorship of the UFC to create tangible consumer engagement and purchases.
GNF Marketing's solution was the "Take A Fighter To Work" campaign. This involved a multi-channel promotional strategy on radio, social media (including the Boost and UFC Facebook pages), and with in-person street teams. They developed a microsite, a viral video featuring a UFC champion, and social sharing tools to encourage entry and engagement. Winners had a UFC fighter visit their workplace, and the events were filmed and shared across social channels to extend the campaign's reach.
