Baptist Health System reduces hypoglycemia by 277 patient days with Glytec

Baptist Health System sought to fully adopt the standard of care for diabetes management, which is basal bolus insulin therapy. To assist in this transition and improve patient outcomes, they implemented Glytec's Glucommander SubQ solution.

Glytec's solution provided automated, daily insulin adjustments with built-in safety features. The results demonstrated less hypoglycemia and severe hypoglycemia, significantly reduced hyperglycemia, and better glycemic control at discharge. Glytec also enabled significant cost avoidance and quantified a potential for substantial further reductions in hypoglycemia patient days.
