International Inbound Travel Association Transitions to Self-Management with Glue Up

The International Inbound Travel Association (IITA) is a trade association of about 200 U.S.-based tour operators that was forced to pause many operations during the COVID-19 pandemic. Seeking to move away from a management company and become self-managed after leaving NetForum, IITA needed an affordable, flexible membership management platform to quickly migrate data and maintain member communication—so they chose Glue Up (formerly Eventbank).

Glue Up implemented its all-in-one membership management platform, migrating IITA’s membership database, consolidating communications via email campaigns and surveys, integrating event registration and payments, and enabling reporting and financial automation. As a result, IITA regained control of operations, streamlined processes and finances (fees and renewals go directly to their bank), improved member engagement and retention, and is now set up to run events like the 2022 IITA Summit—all while reducing management costs with Glue Up.
