How Nu Skin Used Glue Up for a Global Conference with 7,000 Attendees

Nu Skin, a global personal care and wellness company, used Glue Up’s Event Management Software to run its 2018 NU SKIN Global Annual Conference in Macau for about 7,000 attendees. Facing challenges around roles and permissions for temporary staff, multi-location congestion, real-time attendee monitoring, preventing duplicate meals/non-participant entry, and comprehensive data collection (Nu Skin had previously used Aventri), the organizers needed a scalable, secure solution to manage onsite operations and post-event insights.

Glue Up implemented ticket-tiering with tailored access rights, role-based permissions for volunteers, automatic personal QR-code check-ins via the Glue Up App, and real-time monitoring through the Glue Up Manager app across 20 check-in stations. The platform also enabled data export, follow-up communications, online ticketing and financial tracking, helping Glue Up deliver seamless check-ins for 7,000 attendees, minimal wait times and congestion, reduced losses from unauthorized access or duplicate meals, and richer attendee data and metrics for future events.
