A Glue Up Case Study
DNPs of Color (DOC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that supports doctors of nursing practice of color through networking, mentorship, and advocacy. Facing manual processes and a mostly social-media–based community, DOC needed to transition to a membership-based association and streamline communication, events, and membership management—especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. They selected Glue Up and its all-in-one engagement management platform, including Glue Up’s CRM, event management, membership management, and email campaign tools.
Glue Up implemented its CRM, event and finance modules, automated campaigns and reminders, and membership applications to replace manual workflows and Google Forms. As a result, DOC grew contacts from 10 to over 1,000 in a year, organized 10 events on the platform, reached a 25,000-email quota, and reports a quadrupling of member engagement and contact base—all while saving staff time and improving tracking of opens/clicks and registrations. Glue Up’s platform and support enabled DOC to scale community-led growth and prepare for further features like community engagement and donor management.
