CBAA Achieves Significant Growth in Membership Management and Event Planning Using Glue Up

The Cornell Black Alumni Association, founded in 1976, supports Cornell University alumni through mentorship, scholarships, and community programs. As its membership and events grew, the organization was using Excel spreadsheets, Memberplanet, Mailchimp, and Eventbrite, which made membership tracking, email campaigns, event registration, and data management time-consuming and inconsistent.

Glue Up gave CBAA an all-in-one platform for memberships, event registration, reminders, surveys, and a membership directory. The association says the system reduced administrative overhead, improved communication, and helped manage registrations for holiday gatherings in 10 cities across America, while also contributing to higher membership retention and stronger attendance at events such as networking mixers and tailgates.
