YK Pao School - Customer Case Study

YK Pao School is a pioneering international Chinese school with around 1,600 students. The school needed a fast way to build IT asset management and ticket handling, with strong Active Directory integration and the ability to associate assets with individual users so staff could submit tickets from their own devices. GLPI was chosen to support these needs as an open source IT asset and service management platform.

GLPI delivered an out-of-the-box solution for asset management, helpdesk, change and problem management, and financial integration with assets. According to the school, GLPI helped them quickly establish their IT asset management system and improved support for the whole organization through AD integration and user-asset mapping. The case study does not provide quantified results, but it highlights faster deployment, easier ticket management, and better long-term asset strategy.
