Santander faced the challenge of spreading its corporate culture and boosting collaboration across more than 180,000 employees worldwide. After President Ana Botín learned about StarmeUp, Santander selected Globant’s StarmeUp platform to drive recognition, collaboration and cultural alignment across the organization.

Globant implemented StarmeUp in seven days and, within six months, the platform reached 95,000 active users (about 54% of Santander’s global staff) across 34 countries. The solution uses limited monthly peer-to-peer “stars” tied to eight core behaviors to increase recognition, surface talent and improve engagement, and Globant continues to collaborate with Santander on enhancements and measurable adoption.
