The Metropolitan Police needed to modernize how Londoners access police services—making reporting faster, improving protection for vulnerable people, and increasing transparency and local engagement across multiple channels. Globant partnered with the Met to design and deliver a new web‑based, scalable digital communications platform and service strategy (including a large local social‑media programme) to move interactions into the digital era.

Globant’s 18‑month programme delivered online crime and road‑traffic reporting, transactional services (licenses/forms), local crime visualizations, plus training for 1,200 officers and creation/maintenance of over 1,200 local Facebook and Twitter accounts. Since the beta launch the site saw a threefold spike in traffic in its first week, page‑views are set to double annually, calls have fallen for services now handled online, and road‑traffic collision reporting shifted over 70% to online — clear, measurable impact from Globant’s solution.
