Leading Domestic Airline Company, operating in a fiercely competitive and safety‑critical industry, needed dependable, high‑performance web properties and integrated operational support for crew, workforce planning and certification. In 2009 the airline engaged Globant to modernize its website; the relationship expanded to full development‑cycle services, Agile Pods, and certification support across multiple lines of business.
Globant implemented a tightly integrated Agile Pods model and took responsibility for building and maintaining the airline’s promotional sites and revenue‑generating booking systems as well as operational tools. The engagement grew from 8 Globant team members in 2 pods to 550 professionals in 28 pods, delivering features on a rolling 5–10 month cadence, supporting billions of dollars in annual booking revenue, and improving quality, flexibility and cross‑team communication.
