Leading Airline Company engaged Globant to help redefine its digital strategy and replace legacy backend and frontend stacks while merging two disparate reservation systems after a regional merger. The airline’s challenge was to create a single, highly reliable passenger-facing reservation platform and supporting operations without disrupting daily service during a complex organizational and brand integration.
Globant worked alongside the airline’s teams—using its Agile Pods Methodology and capabilities across consumer experience, UX, cloud/DevOps, big data and digital content—to design, engineer and launch a unified reservation system and new delivery model. The solution included a branded launch, incremental technology rollouts, 24/7 operations-center support and production-environment improvements; since go-live the system has operated flawlessly, maintenance teams were freed to focus on priorities, KPIs shifted from issue counts to faster resolution times (boosting customer satisfaction), and overall operational integration was significantly improved by Globant’s work.
