Electronic Arts (EA) faced a packed release calendar and limited internal capacity, so it partnered with Globant to provide co‑development and outsourced services — from an extended dev team and embedded QA, producers and 2D artists to payment gateways, big‑data projects and customer‑support systems — to scale flexibly, access specialized talent, and support live services across time zones.
Globant implemented a single, unified development model (one code branch) with a structured Globant Agile process, frequent focused engineering meetings, and end‑to‑end QA based on user stories and two‑week sprints to target zero known bugs at release. The collaboration now includes about 80 Globant staff, has supported titles like NHL and UFC, and has matured into a nearly decade‑long Tier I partnership that increased throughput, reduced turnover through career progression, and enabled reliable 24/7 live‑service support.
