Data Warehousing Company engaged Globant to define and build a data strategy and architecture to store and query historical and analytical data across platforms and serve multiple stakeholders and clients. Globant was hired to create the data & analytics architecture for the new digital platform, designing a Big Data architecture that included a Data Lake and a Data Warehouse to support reporting and analytics.

Globant implemented the solution by building a Data Lake on S3 and a Redshift Data Warehouse with ETLs orchestrated in Amazon Managed Workflows for Apache Airflow, plus specific components: the Analyze reporting suite (MongoDB + Redshift) for student insights, a User Analytics pipeline (API Gateway → Kinesis Firehose → S3 → ETL → Redshift), and scheduled Admin Reports via Amazon Data Pipeline. The new architecture delivered a cost‑effective, cloud‑based approach to secure data storage and analysis, enabled cross‑organization reporting and student performance insights for teachers and district administrators, and established the foundation for Data Warehousing Company’s future data strategy.
