Accent Group, a leading B2C footwear retailer, faced the challenge of scaling online to meet rising demand: making every pair of shoes available online, decentralising inventory, launching new brands faster, and driving 25% of revenue from digital channels. In 2015 they engaged Globant to help translate that vision into a scalable digital commerce strategy and execution plan.

Globant built an omnichannel Commerce Studio featuring a headless Magento architecture with a Progressive Web App front end and a Global Reference Architecture, integrating Apparel 21, Fredhopper, Adobe Marketing and Mulesoft, plus loyalty, delivery and click‑and‑collect capabilities. The solution drove dramatic results: 170% year‑on‑year growth, online sales growth from $1M in 2016 to $503M in 2021, and sales that doubled overnight after introducing click‑and‑collect.
