Case Study: Top Media Analytics Organization achieves near-real-time, scalable serverless analytics on AWS with Globant

A Globant Case Study

Preview of the Top Media Analytics Organization Case Study

A new platform with Stability, Accessibility, Agility, and Expandability at its core

Top Media Analytics Organization engaged Globant after concluding their legacy platform was limited and outdated. They needed a re‑architecture on AWS to become highly available, scalable and serverless—able to analyze thousands of media data sources in near real time—and the project leveraged AWS services (including Amazon Glue and Amazon EKS) and a partner‑managed data lake.

Globant implemented a builder strategy using open‑source technologies and an everything‑as‑code Gitflow approach: terabytes of unstructured data are ingested into the AWS data lake, transformed second‑by‑second with Amazon Glue, and application services run in Amazon EKS using Apache Spark, Airflow, Spring Boot, OpenSearch, Grafana, InfluxDB and PostgreSQL. The result was platform independence, pay‑for‑use cost reductions, faster time‑to‑market by moving from batch to near‑real‑time analytics, and increased agility via a decoupled microservices architecture.
