iris, a major business software provider, needed to provide GDPR-compliant digital signatures for its accountancy software userbase without interrupting its secure customer workflow. They partnered with GlobalSign to find a scalable and cost-effective solution using their Digital Signing Service (DSS).

GlobalSign's cloud-based Digital Signing Service was integrated into the iris platform via a REST API, providing high-assurance, PKI-based signatures. This solution allowed iris to issue approximately 150,000 signatures per month, totaling over 1 million signatures in a year. The implementation improved platform performance during busy periods and created the possibility to expand the service to other customer groups.
