A GlobalSign Case Study

Preview of the Fivium Case Study

Fivium enables 70,000 document signings with GlobalSign

Fivium, a UK-based software provider for the public sector, needed to integrate trusted digital signatures into its government-facing applications. Their challenge was to provide a secure, AATL-validated signing solution that was cost-efficient and simple to implement, replacing inefficient paper-based processes for critical documents. They turned to GlobalSign and its Digital Signing Service (DSS).

By integrating GlobalSign’s DSS via its REST API, Fivium provided its government customers with seamless, AATL-validated digital signatures. The solution eliminated user confusion over signature validity and added features like Long-Term Validation. The measurable impact includes the successful signing of tens of thousands of documents, with an expected growth to 10,000 signings per year for one customer, and plans to roll the solution out across Fivium's entire document signing software suite.
