Big Good Partners with GlobalSign to Secure Smart Home Products, SecureHardware Chips and Chip Burners

Big Good, a Taiwan-based startup offering smart home products, secure hardware chips, and chip burners, sought to embed security at the component level. They needed to provision strong, unique digital certificates for their own devices, for the crypto chips they sell to manufacturers, and for their new high-volume G-Shield chip burner. They partnered with GlobalSign to establish a trustworthy PKI-based security infrastructure that could scale and accelerate their time to market.

GlobalSign implemented its IoT Identity Platform and IoT Edge Enroll solution to serve as the core security framework. This provided a flexible PKI system with easy API integration, enabling Big Good to provision certificates for all three product lines. The solution allowed them to securely embed digital identities directly onto hardware chips, support high-speed batch provisioning with the G-Shield burner, and quickly bring their products to market with enhanced security credibility.
