Baltika Breweries, one of Russia’s largest brewers responsible for 70% of the company’s export deliveries to 75+ countries, needed a high‑availability, fail‑safe file exchange system to handle large volumes of transfers, multiple protocols, strong authentication, and regulatory compliance. Working with Softline, Baltika selected Globalscape’s Enhanced File Transfer (EFT) to meet these security and integration requirements.

Globalscape implemented EFT with its DMZ Gateway architecture—keeping file processing inside the firewall while the gateway mediates external traffic—enabling automated transfers, fewer points of failure, and quicker setup. The Globalscape solution produced a significant reduction in transfer setup time, lowered the risk of unauthorized access, simplified administration, and improved availability and safety for Baltika’s file exchange operations.
