Music Publisher Uses EFT™ Enterprise in AWS to Improve Efficiency and Create a Scalable Infrastructure for Complex Invoicing Process

The Largest Music Publisher, one of the largest music publishers in the United States, faced growing complexity in its daily invoicing workflow as it tracked song plays across radio and streaming sources, transformed inconsistent data formats, and processed payments to artists and sources. As acquisitions increased bandwidth demands, the publisher’s existing Globalscape EFT Enterprise environment was under strain, especially for high-volume managed file transfer and data validation tasks.

Working with Globalscape, the company implemented a new load-balanced, highly available EFT Enterprise deployment in Amazon Web Services, while keeping its on-premises system focused on downstream transformation and internal processing. This role-based setup improved efficiency, protected internal systems from bad data, handled increased transfer bandwidth, reduced costs through AWS, and maintained constant availability for mission-critical operations.
