Qualcomm wanted to showcase its Snapdragon Digital Pen as a new kind of stylus for professionals who need to inspect and annotate objects in 3D, but it needed help turning the technology into a meaningful product with clear end-user value. GlobalLogic partnered with Qualcomm to define the use case and build an experience around the pen’s ultrasound-based tracking and 3D interaction capabilities.

GlobalLogic developed an Android application that demonstrated how the Qualcomm Snapdragon Digital Pen could be used to navigate, rotate, and annotate content, including capturing snapshots and comments on selected points. Working closely with Qualcomm Technologies engineering teams across multiple locations, GlobalLogic helped fast-track the project to a Mobile World Congress demo in just four weeks, enabling Qualcomm to present a compelling showcase of the technology.
