Innovative Interfaces, the maker of the Sierra library services platform, sought closer support for existing customers and a stronger presence to drive growth in the Asia Pacific and EMEA regions. To meet these goals, Innovative partnered with GlobalLogic to expand engineering capacity and establish a localized service, support, and development center in Noida called Innovative India.
GlobalLogic implemented a three‑pronged plan—recruiting local library professionals, connecting Innovative India with library ecosystem experts, and running localized outreach—creating a tightly integrated operation rather than a basic call center. In under a year the GlobalLogic‑enabled center grew to 70+ staff (in six months), transitioned feature‑team ownership for three major product lines, enabled Asia Pacific time‑zone support, completed 70+ enterprise “go‑lives,” and resolved more than 10,000 support tickets while expanding Innovative’s engineering and release capacity.
