Cisco NY Commercial Operation, a large-enterprise consumer services business running Microsoft Dynamics AX, was struggling with reporting issues—most notably login errors—that impeded timely, accurate financial and operational reports. Seeking an Excel-native solution, they evaluated alternatives and selected Global Software, Inc.’s Atlas over a competing Excel add-in to keep reporting workflows inside Excel.

Atlas delivered Excel-based access to ERP data, streamlining report creation and processes such as extracting data from Dynamics/relational databases, sharing reports and dashboards, reporting outside the GL (Inventory, Manufacturing, Sales, Purchasing, Projects), and data migration/uploads. As a result, Cisco gained faster reporting, improved ability to identify incorrectly allocated funds and duplicate invoices, and measurable time savings.
