Goodwood Estate, home to events such as the Festival of Speed and Goodwood Revival and attracting about 450,000 visitors a year, had a legacy Wi‑Fi deployment (~150 APs) that provided basic public access but no meaningful visitor analytics. To capture visitor behaviour, improve guest interaction and boost marketing and cross‑sales, Goodwood partnered with GlobalReach Technology to add Wi‑Fi authentication, custom captive portals and analytics.
GlobalReach Technology deployed its cloud‑based captive‑portal platform (authentication, analytics and reporting) in 2014, enabling branded, responsive, multi‑language portals that can be segmented by access point and built with drag‑and‑drop tools. The solution supports thousands of concurrent users, captures hundreds of thousands of sessions, provides a single GUI for real‑time policy and on‑demand reporting, and has delivered measurable benefits to Goodwood in attendee profiling, sponsor reporting and more targeted marketing and commercial opportunities.
