Global Expansion and VMware Setting New Standards in Global Mobility

VMware by Broadcom faced a fast-moving challenge after splitting from Dell: retain key stakeholders in countries where it lacked local entities and transition legacy employees away from Dell support on a tight deadline. To avoid setting up multiple entities, VMware selected Global Expansion as its Employer of Record, leveraging GX’s EOR services and its GX1 platform to centralize and manage the global workforce.

Global Expansion implemented a multi-phased project board, used Monday for task tracking, onboarded employees into the GX1 platform, ran individual and town-hall briefings, and provided ongoing training and compliance support. As a result, Global Expansion completed the transfers ahead of the deadline set by VMware’s parent company, provided centralized visibility and compliance, and helped VMware retain its key contributors since 2021, while continuing joint webinars and events to support the partnership.
