Loquet, a British fine jewellery brand, was selling globally but faced major cross-border friction: its site supported only three currencies, a limited set of payment methods, and unclear duties/taxes that drove customers to abandon carts or call to complete purchases. To scale its bespoke and standard jewellery sales internationally, Loquet partnered with Global-e and adopted Global-e’s Smart Cross-Border™ solution to remove those barriers.
Global-e delivered a fully localised checkout (95+ currencies, 21 languages), guaranteed duties/taxes with prepayment, 150+ local payment methods, free express shipping and simplified returns, enabling shoppers to pay as if they were local. The impact was immediate: within one year international orders rose 138%, international conversion rates grew 110% and international revenues increased 82% (notable market uplifts include Japan orders +250%, Netherlands +167% and USA orders +127%).
