LiveSafe, a mobile safety communications platform used by universities, stadiums, and Fortune 1000 organizations, needed a reliable way to test how its app performed across many locations, devices, and mobile carriers. While automated testing could catch bugs and simulate load, the team needed real-world user insight to ensure the app would work flawlessly in stressful, location-specific situations. Global App Testing mobilised 11 testers in 2 countries to test LiveSafe’s app on a wide range of devices, focusing on emergency services, GPS, and employee safety reporting. Within 48 hours, the team identified numerous ways to improve the application, and the success of the first round led LiveSafe to expand testing to more cities worldwide. To date, Global App Testing has tested in over 45 cities for LiveSafe, giving the company greater confidence in its app’s reliability for real-world safety use cases.
