Staff Development Forum (SDF) hosts an annual conference for learning and development professionals in higher education, but wanted to make #SDF2017 more interactive than previous years. After seeing the benefits of Glisser at another event, the team looked for a simple event technology platform that could improve audience engagement, Q&A, and feedback across the conference.

Glisser provided its live slide sharing, digital Q&A, polling, and word cloud tools to connect delegates with presenters in real time. The results were strong: 98% of delegates engaged within the first hour, with over 1,800 total interactions, more than 1,100 poll votes, and over 100 questions asked. Post-conference feedback rates also rose to just under 50%, far above typical survey response rates, helping SDF shape future conference content.
