Design Council, a UK charity and government adviser on design, needed a way to help 300+ attendees from 30+ countries at its Powering Innovation Summit in Tallinn feel comfortable sharing opinions and asking questions across a diverse lineup of speakers. Glisser provided the event engagement platform used to support audience participation.

Glisser enabled live polling and crowdsourced Q&A across all four panel discussions, helping the Design Council surface the most relevant audience questions and gather insights on where design could have the greatest impact. The result was strong engagement, with more questions than moderators could handle and an average of one question for every two people in the audience; the captured data was also seen as actionable enough that Chris Finnegan said the project could run for another two, three or five years, and that he would use Glisser at his next event.
