The customer, CarGurus, needed a simple way for teams across its organization to add and maintain diagrams within its Confluence knowledge base and Jira workflows. The challenge was to find an intuitive diagramming tool that required no training and could integrate natively to replace cumbersome static images and screenshots that were difficult to update.

The vendor, Gliffy, provided its diagramming solution for Confluence and Jira. This allowed employees from Engineering to Sales to easily create and edit visuals directly within the tools they already used. The result was a significant reduction in documentation headaches, as diagrams could now be updated without starting from scratch. Gliffy’s intuitive nature meant it was immediately usable by all employees, eliminating training overhead and supporting the Knowledge Management team's goal of making information easily accessible.
