The Beacon Shopping Centre gets a new ‘aspirational’ retail brand identity and commercial facelift

Glidden Design worked with The Beacon Shopping Centre to reposition the centre in the North East as a community hub and contemporary retail destination after a £500,000 refurbishment. The project covered brand identity, graphic design, website design, and signing and wayfinding.

Glidden Design delivered a new brand identity inspired by the local seagulls and fishing heritage, along with enhanced external and internal signage, entrance improvements, and a new website. The result was a refreshed, aspirational retail brand that strengthened the centre’s identity and customer experience, though no specific measurable performance figures were provided.
