Avacta Life Sciences, a Wetherby-based developer of engineered affinity proteins, needed a distinctive communications system to reach customers and investors for its disruptive research and diagnostic technology. They worked with Glidden Design to help translate a complex, technical scientific offering into a clear and compelling brand presence.

Glidden Design rationalised Avacta’s brand hierarchy and symbology, introduced a new font family and colour-use principles, and created “The Engineers” illustrated character system to give marketing materials a distinctive voice. The identity has since been rolled out across marketing communications, exhibition stands, stationery, print, and annual reports, strengthening consistency across channels, though no specific numeric results were provided.
