Professional Services Company worked with GLG after the COVID-19 outbreak in China created urgent questions about the impact of the virus on supply chains. The company had planned to bring a speaker to a multi-client in-person conference, but the event was canceled as a safety precaution, leaving them in need of an alternative way to share timely insights.

GLG converted the conference into a virtual corporate webcast and sourced Council Member Steven Solomon, former Director of the CDC’s Office of Antimicrobial Resistance, to present and answer audience questions. The webcast reached more than 1,000 of the firm’s clients, and post-event survey feedback showed the session was critical in helping attendees understand the virus’s potential supply chain impact.
