Pharmaceutical Company worked with GLG to evaluate the potential of a novel drug/device combination as it considered entering key European markets. The company needed to understand how much the product could expand its existing market and what share it might capture, while also gathering insight from hard-to-reach physicians.
GLG used a mixed-method approach combining expert-moderated in-depth interviews and a survey. Over six weeks, GLG conducted 40 interviews with physicians across five European markets and then fielded a survey with more than 300 physicians. GLG synthesized the findings into country-by-country and overall recommendations, helping the client decide which markets to enter first and informing product development, positioning, and physician concern analysis.
