Western Business Exhibitions, organiser of The Health & Safety Event, needed to drive more registrations and visitors while improving pre-reg conversion among health and safety professionals across industrial, commercial, construction, and public sectors. They worked with GleanIn and its referral marketing platform, Gleanin Connect, to strengthen advocacy and social referrals for the event.
GleanIn implemented a social referral and advocacy program that enabled registrants to share, invite, and email their networks directly. The results were strong: 5.7% of registrants came via social registration, more than 13% advocated for the show through Gleanin, and 7% of all registrations were generated by Gleanin referrals. GleanIn also delivered a 60% attendee conversion rate for Gleanin registrants, which was 10% higher than the overall registrant conversion rate.
